Which payment methods are accepted?
We can accept payment for order using a credit or debit card. We currently accept MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Switch, VISA Electron and VISA.
Is my payment secure?
All payments made to Maple Computers are completely secure. Your card payment will be processed by HSBC, who offer the absolute best online security. When you make your payment using the HSBC card interface, you will notice that the web browser address will change to HTTPS, ensuring our customers are safe from fraud and identity theft.
How do I know whether my payment has been successful?
You will get a confirmation message on your screen once your payment has been processed, as well as a confirmation via email. If you are unsure whether your payment has been successful, you can call our team on 08000 337035.
I'm having trouble with the website; can I order over the phone?
Yes. We are currently able to accept telephone orders. We have a secure 0800 line where we can accept orders over the telephone. You will need your card details ready.
What if the item I ordered has gone out of stock?
The Maple product feed is live; however it is used on a number of our websites which all synchronise every half an hour.
There is a very small chance that someone could order the same product on another one of our websites at the same time as you. The customer who made the order first will receive the product and the other customer will be refunded immediately.
If we have a product which is almost identical, there may be a chance that we will send this as a replacement product. We will never send a cheaper item to you.
The arrival time of your refund depends on the banks clearing times. We ask you to allow 7-14 working days for clearance into your bank.
Who manages your online payment system?
HSBC manages our payment system. When you enter your card details online, you are entering them to HSBC. HSBC have all the necessary security SSL certificates.
Will Maple be able to view my card details?
When you enter your card details to pay Maple computers, you will be submitting the details via the HSBC interface. Only HSBC will be able to see your card details, and we will never see the card details that you enter online. You can verify this information by contacting HSBC.
Only if you pay via the telephone will we then have to process your card details. We will manually enter them into our machine which is very safe. Our 0800 telephone line is secure and we will never store your card details.
